"For the month of November, we'd like to donate our ATM fees to veterans organizations. Specifically, Toys for Tots and American Patriot Heroes Fund," said Joe Perri, president of Gold Coast Banks.

David Zere, executive director of American Patriot Heroes, and Captain Chuck McBride of the Marines, organizer with Toys for Tots, were onhand to hear the news and receive awards for their charitable work.

Also on hand was Cathy Rankin, of Arizona, who has become well-known among U.S. Armed Forces for the pin-up style, tribute calendar she's put together, with all proceeds going to benefit the troops.

"I feel I am just one person doing one small part of what I can for our soldiers," Rankin said.
