Lil' Builders Sets Up Shop in Nesconset

Kid spot offering fun and birthday parties plans late December opening.

A new party and play place for kids is readying for a late December opening on Terry Rd. in Nesconset.

Lil' Builders, a Lego lovers delight, is hoping to stack up the fun for kids with mommy and me classes, birthday parties and after school brick classes.

Lil’ Builders was launched by Alemaghides, a stay at home mom of two.  She wanted to start a one-stop party spot where kids could use their brains for an hour-and-a-half, and still have the time of their lives, celebrating with their closest friends and family.

"I've been to a lot of parties with Legos. I thought this was something that I could do myself," she said.

On the company's website, Aelmaghides also said she wanted to offer an alternative for parents who struggle to find creative outlets for their children, or after-school programs that allow them to form a better bond with them.  She also wanted to provide a much-needed place where parents of special needs children might meet and perhaps formulate new friendships.

The Smithtown resident said she is aiming to open the day after Christmas and already has parties booked for January and February. Lil' Builders will be open seven-days-a-week from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. You can visit their Facebook page here.

Lil' Builders is located at 161 Terry Rd. in Smithtown at the corner of Rhoda Ave. 631.656.6741
