New Winter Menu Warm-Up at Blend Wine and Tapas

Soups and red wine are one way to stave off the cold.

A new year and a new menu are on tap for patrons headed to Hauppauge's Blend Wine and Tapas.

Located at 321 Nesconset Hwy., in Hauppauge, the restaurant is a sister business to Pace's Steakhouse, brought to the area by proprietors Jimmy Pace, Tommy Quinn and Chef Mike.

The chicken corn chowder or minnestrone soup could be a way to escape from the recent arctic blast. Of course, a little red wine could do the trick as well.

Added entrees include Sunday Gravy, a pan of braised beef, meatballs and sausage served over spaghetti and appetizers like the stuffed poblano pepper, which is deep fried and stuffed with Monterey Jack cheese, chorizo and tomatoes.

Of course you can still find a selection of meets and cheeses including spicy chorizo, artisan salami, infused goat cheese and triple cream bleu.
