Pace's Catering to Offer Take-Out Lunch

New Hauppauge catering facility expands its services this February by offering take-out and delivery lunch specials.

Hauppauge's newest catering facility is getting its food ready to hit the road.

Pace's Catering, a recent expansion of on Route 347, will be offering a take-out and delivery lunch options starting in February, according to co-partner and chef Michael Ulholz.

"We're making hot food fresh in the morning and bringing it to you in a half-hour time span. You can't beat that," Ulholz.

The former owner of Cielo restaurant said they are hoping to expand the new catering business by capturing part of the lunch crowd from the Hauppauge Industrial Park and surrounding businesses.

While the details of the new lunch menu are still being tested in the kitchen, Ulholz promised it will look different from the Pace's Steakhouse menu. The focus will be on upscale wraps, sandwiches and gourmet homemade-style salads at a price point of $8 to $10 per sandwich.

Pace's Catering between Jimmy Pace, owner of Pace's Steakhouse, and Ulholz. They joined with Tommy Quinn, a former Wall Street trader, to a small catering facility for intimate gathering and business meetings in Hauppauge.
