Petland Discounts appears to have closed its Lake Grove storefront within the past week. It is the last business to vacate the Route 347 strip mall on the corner of Route 25.

Nearly all signs of the international pet store chain were gone by Friday afternoon. It's distinctive yellow sign has been pulled down, although the Petland name could vaguely be made out in the wear and tear to the building front. Brown paper covers the store's front windows.

If Petland Discounts is gone for good, it has become the last business to abandon the Route 347 strip mall.
