A new pizzeria has opened up in Hauppauge and started serving slices to its customers over the weekend.
Amato's Pizza opened in the Hauppauge Shopping Center, in the former storefront of Singas Pizzeria, between Route 347/Nesconset Bypass and Route 111/Wheeler Road.
Amato's Pizza is celebrating its grand opening with a special offer of buy one regular slice, get one free through Oct. 21.
The new pizzeria opens in close proximity to many long-standing pizzerias, directly across the street from Branchinelli's and nearby Ciro's in Smithtown.
