Shopping Plaza May Come To Islandia

The land is being marketed for retail businesses, restaurants and hotels.

Approximately 12.6-acres of land in Islandia, on the Hauppuge border, are waiting for business owners to move in.

The parcel, which sits at the corner of Motor Parkway and Veterans Highway, is being marketed for restaurants, retail development and hotels.

Neighboring tenants include Waldbaums, Stop & Shop, Walmart, Walgreens, Rite Aid and others. The lot is visible from the Long Island Expressway ramps at Exit 57.

A representative from Commercial Retail Associates, which is marketing the property, said that there are no plans yet for building, but that it is still early on in the process.
