Jacks Mr. Tobacco Shop Moving Across Street

Jacks Mr. Tobacco will be relocating to 17 Singer Drive, a brown house next to Millenium Diner.

has closed its shop in the Branch Shopping Center as it prepares to move to the former Irish Elegance location across the street, the store manager has confirmed.

That means customers looking for their smoking needs will have to go elsewhere until the move is complete.

While moving out of 126 E. Main Street will leave another hole in the Branch strip-mall – the center already has a gaping hole where Waldbaum's once operated – the tobacco shop fills another vacancy by occypying the brown, wood-shingled house on Route 111.

The house is the former location of Irish Elegance, an Irish boutique gift store that relocated to the Stony Brook Village Center.

Two temporary signs hang facing Route 111 announcing the tobacco shop's move, a permanent sign has been installed over the entrance at 17 Singer Lane.
