Snow Causes Early Closures Across Smithtown

Smithtown businesses and libraries are making the tough choice to close their doors before the snow storm gets any worse. 

Dozens of businesses have taken to social media sites including Facebook and Twitter to announce they'll be closing early on Tuesday. 

Here's a list of local announcements: 

• Gymboree of St. James: Closing at 3 p.m. 
  
  
• John Harvard's of Lake Grove: Closing at 4 p.m. 
  
  
• Smithtown Public Library: Closed at 2 p.m. The Library Board of Trustees meeting has been rescheduled for 4:30 p.m. Friday. 
  
  
• Sunshack Tanning Salon of Smithtown: Closing at 3 p.m. via Facebook
  
  
• The Little Gym of Smithtown: Closed
  
  
• Tiger Schulman's Mixed Martial Arts of Smithtown: Closed, all classes cancelled
