Stores Open in Hauppauge on Thanksgiving Day

Need that morning cup of coffee or forget the stuffing? We've got a list of stores open for you.

Happy Thanksgiving. That means many of the usual places of business are closed: schools, libraries, post offices, banks, and the county and state government buildings. 

But let's face it, someone always needs a cup of coffee to get going or to run out and get the last minute cranberry sauce.

Here's a list of stores open on Thanksgiving Day in Hauppauge:

  •  Need a cup of coffee this morning?  will be open from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m serving up coffee and treats. It's a place to catch up with a friend before Thanksgiving dinner. 
  • If you prefer your coffee to go,  will be open 24 hours on Thanksgiving Day. Grab a Box of Joe to share with the family or a few munchkins for a child-friendly Thanksgiving dessert.
  • For out-of-town guests looking for a New York Bagel, send them to  or New York Bagel Co. off Veterans Highway in Islandia. Both will be serving up hot bagels in the morning.
  • Head over to for a free Thanksgiving Day class featuring a half-hour of Zumba followed by a half-hour of yoga. Bring a non-perishable food donation to be given to a local pantry. 
  • Speaking of treats,  will be open scooping up Thanksgiving Day specials. A turkey ice cream cake can provide an alternative to pumpkin pie, or turn it into pie a la mode.
  • Looking for last-minute stuffing or cranberry sauce?  is open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  •  will be open from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. with a special Thanksgiving Day menu of roast turkey with chestnut stuffing ($13.99), roast prime rib of beef ($19.99), and a variety of specialty pies for dessert.

       

  • Football fans looking to kick back and watch the game can head to Dave & Buster's off Veterans Highway in Islandia.
  •   on Townline Road will be open all day for snacks and small odds and ends.
