Thousands to Attend HIA-LI Trade Show

The Hauppauge-based agency's 25th Annual Trade Show and Conference will take place May 23.

The HIA-LI (Hauppauge Industrial Agency-Long Island) 25th Annual Trade Show and Conference will take place May 23.

Thousands of attendees and hundreds of exhibitors are expected to attend the business conference, which will take place from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Suffolk County Community College Sports and Exhibition Complex, Brentwood Campus. 

The event will feature breakfast, an open-floor business trade show, complimentary business seminars and an executive luncheon.

The Hauppauge-based Suffolk County IDA (Industrial Deveopment Agency) is a major sponsor of the conference.

“The Suffolk County IDA’s participation will focus a spotlight on the information, imagination and innovation of Long Island entrepreneurs,” said Terri Alessi-Miceli, president of HIA-LI in a press release.

The IDA’s goal during the showcase is to show businesses how to retain and grow local companies, including the expansion or renovation, purchasing or building a new or additional location and how to move into Suffolk County, she said.
