Weekly Gas Prices In Hauppauge

Gas prices shot upwards in Hauppauge this week. The cheapest price rose 2 cents to $3 per gallon, while others gained 20 cents at $3.60 per gallon. Overall, the average price shot up from $3.12 to $3.18 per gallon with an average increase of 6 cents.

The best price this week can be found at Hauppauge's two gas stations, selling regular 87 gas for $3 per gallon. One is in the northeastern corner of town at 615 Smithtown Bypass intersecting with Mount Pleasant Road in front of the Meat Farms grocery. The other lies one traffic light west at 522 Smithtown Bypass, near the intersection with Route 111.

The third cheapest gas prices are along the southern edge of Hauppauge, at the station at 204 Wheeler Road. Just south of the Long Island Expressway, its selling regular 87 gasoline at $3.04 per gallon.

To find gas closer to the center of town, head to 500 Townline Road near Route 111.  around the corner from Hauppauge High School and Middle School, has regular gas at $3.12 per gallon. 

gas station, off Exit 56 of the Long Island Expressway at 410 Wheeler Road and the North Service Road, is now selling regular gas for $3.60 a gallon. , just across the expressway at 360 Wheeler Road, is also at $3.60 per gallon.  The price at this Mobil had remained consistent for the past five weeks, but this week, along with Gulf, has risen 20 cents and is the highest price in town.

If you live further west toward Brentwood or work in the Hauppauge industrial park, the Mobil north of the LIE at Exit 55, 700 Motor Parkway, is selling regular gas at $3.10 per gallon.

In the Smithtown/Nesconset area, you may want to head over to Getty gas station where regular 87 gas is only $3 per gallon this week - tied for the cheapest available locally. It is located at 241 Terry Road in Smithtown, near Smithtown Boulevard  off Route 347.
