10 Places to Party on New Year's Eve

Grab your friends and loved ones to ring in the start of 2012 at these local parties.

 

Have you thought about where you are going on New Years Eve? It's one of the biggest party nights of the year. Here our list of 10 places in or near Hauppauge to celebrate the New Year.

* : Ring in 2012 at Butterfields in Hauppauge. For $125 a person, enjoy a sitdown three-course dinner with an open bar from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Dance to the DJs with a free champagne toast at midnight.

: Madison is having a New Year's Eve dinner party hosted by Lou Kron, featuring the Terri Hinds Band. The continuous entertainment starts at 10 p.m. with two different seatings available. The seated dinners 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., the second is 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. which includes an appetizer, salad, pasta course and choice of four entrees: surf and turf, a 24-ounce porter steak, duck with raspberry sauce or red snapper. Cost is $110 per person, with $20 per person seated at the bar.

* : Ring in the new year at The Fountain Grille inside the Smithtown Sheraton on Motor Parkway in Hauppauge. For $375, a couple can reserve a room overnight and enjoy a four-course meal. Price includes a champagne toast, chocolate-covered strawberries and breakfast the next morning.

* Silk Ultra Lounge: This local hot spot is having a major New Year's Eve party called the Moneydrop $2,012. There will be an open bar from 8 p.m. to midnight with featured guests Triple R, Karess, Scott Camello, C-Rule, Eli, and Click Da Cosigner. Have a drink while kicking back and watching the ball drop of big screen HDTV. Tickets cost $20.

* The Wobbly Olive in Hauppauge’s Industrial Park will ring in its first New Year’s Eve with a party from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. Enjoy live music and a free champagne toast at midnight.

* : If you are looking for a relaxing New Year's Eve, hit up the local Tap and Barrel to sample a few of the 52 beers on tap. There's always something happening at this bar, so stop by and join the crowd.

* Dave & Buster's: The Islandia restaurant and gaming center is offering a buffet package from 8:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. with a champagne toast and midnight dessert bar. Those purchasing a ticket for the buffet will also receive a $15 power card that is good towards playing various arcade and sports games. * : This Smithtown bar is doing an open buffet from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. with ongoing music and entertainment. Tickets are $50 per person.

* Napper Tandy's: This Smithtown bar is having a 5-hour unlimited ticket from 9 p.m. - 2 p.m. This offers all customers an unlimited access to the bar and food with a champagne toast at midnight. A DJ will be providing music all night long. Tickets are $50 per person.

* : The Watermill is going to be having two different parties on New Year's Eve. One will have the live Heart & Soul nine-piece band from 7:30 p.m. to 1 a.m. In a separate room, In the Mood Djs will be entertaining from 8:30 p.m. to 2 a.m. Both parties will have an open bar and sitdown dinner. Tickets are $110 per person for either party.
