As it has in years past, the 7-11 chain, which is celebrating its 85th year in business, will be giving away free Slurpees on July 11 at approximately 8,200 stores across the United States.
Between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. each customer will recieve a 7.11-ounce Slurpee — the flavor their choice.
There is a store in the Hauppauge area to stop by and grab a frozen treat at 722 Townline Road. There are also several nearby locations in Commack and Smithtown.
