Maneri, formerly an investor in J&R Steakhouse in Islip, has joined with The Wobbly Olive's owners Vincent Manghisi and Vinnie Montenegro to convert their gastropub into a family-friendly New American eatery.

Leading the kitchen is new head chef Anthony Russo, former head chef of Collins & Main in Sayville for more than 12 years.

"Russo brings tremendous experience and professionalism to the kitchen here," Maneri said.

It will be needed as Barrington's faces competition from two nearby New American restaurants, The Grill Room and Butterfield's Restaurant, both established within the industrial park.

Barrington's will offer two menus for patron's to chose from, one at a casual price point and one to suit more upscale tastes, Maneri said. Both offer the same variety of appetizers from buffalo wings to clams, salads, flatbread pizzas and burgers. However, the blue menu offers diners the choice of prime rib and more.
