Blogger Richard Mora writes: We were pouring Jorge Ordonez Seleccion Especial Moscatel 2010 from Malaga at a recent Saturday tasting of Spanish wines at Mora's Fine Wines and one of our guests was from Malaga, so we asked her what to serve this lovely, vibrant sweet moscato wine with.

I usually like desserts with some citrus, pear, apple or peach in it. She suggested potato chips and said the sweet wine with a sweet dessert was too much. I tried her idea and the pairing was excellent!

Kings Park in the kNOw began when a bad batch of heroin killed a few kids in Kings Park and Northport.  At that time, Long Island’s youth heroin was LI's dirty little secret, so few knew it existed.  Unless you’ve been living under a rock at the Bluff, you all know our region (Suffolk and Nassau) has a large and very nasty youth opiate and heroin epidemic.  Some experts and members of the press are calling Long island the epicenter of the country’s youth opiate epidemic.  Learn more about what this grassroots organization is doing to educate the public on risks and decision making in the world of today.
