Dec. 2: Facebook, Career Night and Foley Nursing Home

Thursday is filled with an assorted variety of educational classes, sports and county meetings. No matter what your interest, there's bound to be something to pique it today. 

1.  Strike out to see who gets lucky on the lanes as takes on Middle Country at Smithtown Lanes, 3:30 p.m.

2. Learn how to connect with others online at 's class   at 7 p.m. Use social networking sites from Facebook to Twitter and Four Square to reconnect and meet up with long lost friends. Connect with Hauppauge Patch on Facebook to get instant news updates.

3.  It's at Exit Realty in Smithtown starting at 5:30 p.m. Students can come down to talk with professionals to learn more about what career path they might want to pursue. Wine and cheese will be served. 

4. Suffolk County Legislature committees will be meeting today to talk about the possible sale of Foley Skilled Nursing facility and homeless sex offenders' housing in Riverhead. Patch will be there, so check back later for more information.
