Jan. 28: Family Fun Nights, Hip Hop and Wrestling

Friday marks a day of school before the weekend packed with family activities.

Friday marks one day for schools and businesses to resume normal activities before the weekend. For those who get through the day, Friday night kicks off with a host of activities to suit everyone's tastes. 

1. takes to the mats to face difficult opponent, Islip at 6:30 p.m. The teams are ranked second and third ranked in League V, respectively, making it a battle for the record books. 

2 and  schools are hosting Family Fun nights for students and their parents starting at 7 p.m. Forest Brook's activities will include dinner and entertainment.

3. Hauppauge Public Library is going to be , as they host a class offering to teach students in grades 3-5 beginner hip hop dance steps at 7 p.m. Register online or at the library's community room to participate. 

4. While is disappointing the Jets lost to the Steeler's on Jan. 23, who says you can't enjoy the Super Bowl? Patch will have 10 Places To Cater Your Super Bowl Party at 6 p.m.
