Jan. 30: Good Versus Evil, Mad Science and Shelter Animals

Sunday brings together a seemingly combination of opposites: good and evil, science and fun.

This Sunday has a way of bringing together a pairing of opposites, first good versus evil followed by science and fun. Well maybe the second aren't opposites except to some Hauppauge students. 

1.   takes a look at the literary theme of good versus evil in  from 2 p.m - 3:30 p.m. This event is hosted by the Friends of the Arts. 

2.  Bring the family together to learn about  at theNissequogue River State Park in nearby Kings Park starting at 2 p.m. Children will learn about what wild animals do in the winter season.

3.  combines the popular television show's view of the future and science at the Staller Center for the Arts in Stony Brook University. Become a member of the Starfleet academy in this adventure for the entire family. 

4.  Hauppauge Patch will present its first every Shelter Animal of the Week, featuring dogs and cats up for adoption in nearby towns at 11 a.m.
