July 7: Crafting for Charity, Ice Cream and Concerts

This Thursday, let your creativity loose to help others or create the sundae of your childhood dreams.

This Thursday, Hauppauge residents have the chance to let their creativity run free while getting crafty. Arts and crafts, ice cream and free concerts bring together the best parts of summer. 

Here's your top five: 

1. Teens are invited to put their creativity to use creating a yarn project for a local charity at at the from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Help determine how a ball of yarn can be used to help those in need.

2. What's better than ice cream in the summer? Kids are invited to make their own sundaes during at Whole Foods in Lake Grove using healthy ingredients at 5 p.m. It's a sweet treat mom or dad can approve of. 

3. The 's free kicks off tonight at with Billy Joel tribute band Big Shot at 8 p.m. at the branch shopping plaza.
