June 10: Father's Day Crafts and Live Music

This Friday, grab a cocktail while listening to live music at one of Hauppauge's bars to prepare for the weekend ahead.

This Friday, the heat wave have broken just in time for events to heat things up for the weekend. Two Hauppauge bars invite patrons in to kick back, relax and listen to live music.

Here's your top five:

1. Popsicle picture frames, macaroni bowties and handmade card are the gifts Father's Day memories are made of. The is holding a session, for children ages 3 to 5 , at 1 p.m. Help your child make a gift of love for dad or grandpa.

2. Kick back, grab a drink and relax to the sound of live music of The Pamela Betti Band at or head a few doors down to hear Anthony Sidito at starting at 4 p.m. There's no cover charge at either venue.

3. Make sure to check out the Hauppauge Public Library as they host Fire Safety day with the and a flower show. Check Patch for details later this afternoon.
