June 23: Early Dismissals, Prom and Sizzling Seafood

Spot Hauppauge High School seniors dressed to impress.

The school year is rapidly coming to an end for Hauppauge students, as the seniors dress up in ball gowns and tuxedos to celebrate the journey through four years of school. We can't wait to see how everyone looks.

Here's your top five:

1. All of Hauppauge's elementary schools will have an early dismissal starting with at 11 a.m., followed by and at 11:30 a.m. Make sure someone is there to meet your student.

2. is being served up at the Nesconset branch of the Smithtown Public Library from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Learn how to make crab cakes and shrimp scampi from Craig of the Block Island Seafood Company. Registration is required.

4. will hold its graduation ceremony this Sunday at noon. Meet the valedictorian, salutation and this year's distinguished alumni on Patch this afternoon.
