March 21: Cyberbullying, Hospitality Ball and Save-A-Life

Monday kicks off the week with a focus on educational classes.

This Monday kicks off the week with a focus on educational classes, ranging from a look at the Save-A-Life event held Saturday to the cyberbullying event. Hauppauge residents have plenty of opportunities to learn more and expand their minds. 

1.   will be hosting its Cyberbulling and Social Networking Safety class at 7 p.m. A Suffolk County police officer will discuss issues surrounding cyberbullying with parents and teens. 

2. Lawyers and legal students can study up on through Suffolk County Bar Association's Matrimonial Mondays at 6 p.m. This class discusses the legal issues from a litigation standpoint.

3. Head to nearby Farmingdale for the starting at 7 p.m.  This event features food, wine, entertainment and more featuring Hauppauge's own Silk Ultra lounge to raise funds for the American Cancer Society. Tickets are $100. 

4. This Saturday, Hauppauge teens learned flocked to Save-A-Life Saturday in honor of Arizona Assemblywoman Gabrielle Giffords. Find out what happened on Patch at 10:30 a.m.
