Nesconset Library to Host Job Fair Feb. 28

Employers attending will include U.S. Army and Navy, local colleges and various health care firms.

Job seekers should polish up their resume and prepare their business suits as the Nesconset library will host a job fair on Feb. 28. 

Suffolk County One-Stop Employment Center will be holding a job fair at the Nesconset branch of the Smithtown Special Library District on Feb. 28 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Job seekers are advised to bring resumes and come dressed as if for a job interview. 

Newsday reports that those attending will include Suffolk County civil service office, U.S. Army and Navy,Mercy Haven, Utopia Home Care, Developmental Disabilities Institute, United Healthcare, New York Life, Suffolk County Community College, St. Joseph’s College and Briarcliffe College.

"This day will provide our residents with a chance to present their resumes to professionals looking to hire,” said New York Rep. Michael Fitzpatrick, R-St. James, told Newsday. “It is a good networking opportunity for my constituents, and I urge anyone seeking employment to attend.”
