Nov. 15: Internet, Graphic Novels And Ice Hockey

Monday brings a mix of classes and activities as Patch catches up with a Hauppauge alumni.

Monday starts the week with a mix of activities, ranging from classes to meetings. Patch took some time to catch up with Hauppauge High School alumni this weekend at Power of One, and that trend continues today with a well-known ice hockey player.

1. will host  at 10 a.m. The class offers patrons a chance to learn how to use the library's website and online tools to their advantage, accessing materials at home.

2. While at the library, teens can participate in Great Graphic Novel Project starting Monday, running through Dec. 15. The American Library Association's compiled the Top 10 Best Graphic Novels for Teens, who can reading through them and offering an evaluation in return for two hours of community service.

3. SEPTA will hold a meeting at the  at 7 p.m. Attending is the best way to learn what's happening in the district's special education classrooms.

4. Patch caught up with Hauppauge alumni Mike McCristall at the  this weekend. This afternoon learn how Vladimir Nikiforov is moving his way of the professional hockey ranks.
