Patch to Highlight 100 Reasons Hauppauge Area Is Unique

Your suggestions of things to do are needed for a new column, starting next week.

In a new series that shines a spotlight on the attractions exclusive to the Hauppauge area, beginning next week you will see a new feature on Patch, "100 Things to do in Hauppauge."

In a new series that shines a spotlight on the attractions exclusive to the Hauppauge area, beginning next week you will see a new feature on Patch, "100 Things to do in Hauppauge."

The column is designed to be a guide to all the area has to offer. Each week we will profile one of these attractions, opening up the listing to feedback, impressions and memories you may have of doing the very same things.

Now, we know the community pretty well, which is why we’ve already started making our lists. But we’d love some suggestions from you. E-mail your suggestions to Hauppauge editor Sara-Megan Walsh at: sara-megan.walsh@patch.com.

This new feature is only the beginning, though. In the coming weeks we will also roll out other Patch 100 columns, including one dedicated to the great characters of Hauppauge. So stay tuned.

In the meantime, look out for the new column, which will publish for the first time on Jan. 26.
