Photo of the Day: Holiday Displays in front of Suffolk County offices

An upclose look at the nativity scene and menorah that are on display in front of the H. Lee Dennison building on Veterans Highway.

Signs of the holiday season are everywhere, as we're in the middle Hanukkah festivities and Christmas is only two days away. There's a Christmas nativity scene and menorah on the lawn in front of Suffolk County's H. Lee Dennison building on Veterans Highway that thousands of motorists drive by every day.

The Christmas nativity scene featuring the Biblical figures of Mary, Joseph, infant Jesus and the three wise men is sponsored by St. Michael the Archangel Church in Farmingville.

Near the entrance sign of the H. Lee Dennison building, there is also a metal menorah. It was not clearly marked if this menorah is sponsored by a Suffolk temple or synagogue.
