Bridgehampton National Bank formally introduced the opening of its new branch in Hauppauge on Thursday with a ribbon cutting ceremony and "neighborhood block party" style buffet for those in attendance.

In attendance were a number of government officials and representatives including Suffolk County 10th District Legis. Tom Cilmi, R-East Islip, Smithtown's Town Supervisor Patrick Vecchio, Distric Director for Congressman Tim Bishop's Office Brian Beedenbender, state Sen. John Flanagan's Chief of Staff Ray Bonnardo, Linda Vavricka from state Sen. Lee Zelden's office and more.

"We've been very successful in expanding the bank westward, and this is just the next logical step. ... We recognized this the central part of Suffolk County and where we could grow our business and deliver banking the way we've been delivering banking on the east end," said CEO and President of Bridgehampton National Bank Kevin O'Connor.
