Catch of glimpse of all those who walked in Hauppauge's homecoming parade on Saturday afternoon.
Hundreds of local residents gathered on the streets of Hauppauge for the Hauppauge High School's annual homecoming parade on Saturday afternoon.
The air was full as excitement as students, teachers, friends, family and neighbors gathered to watch the 2011 parade with a mix of honorees, floats and local organizations.
The Hauppauge Fire Department marched with a special banner to honor volunteer Other honorees included Rose Messina, mother of Hauppauge varsity wrestling coach Chris Messina, as one of Hauppauge's Athletic Hall of Fame inductees. Rose was honored for her constant support of Hauppauge's wrestling program, current students and alumni alike.
