PHOTOS: Large Turnout for Nesconset Day

Crafts, food, games and rides delight residents of all ages at the annual community street festival Sunday.

Sunny skies and warm temperatures brought hundreds of residents out to the annual Nesconset Day festival, hosted by the Nesconset Chamber of Commerce from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Craft and food vendors, inflatable games, pony rides and petting zoos kept families entertained for hours as they visited each booth. At 11 a.m., a small ceremony was held at the Nesconset Gazebo to honor those who lost their lives in the 9/11 attacks.
