Job seekers have the opportunity to meet with potential employers face-to-face in Hauppauge on Thursday afternoon.
The will be held at the Perry B. Duryea state building on Veterans Highway in Hauppauge from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday. New York State Department of Labor invites job seekers to bring their resumes and dress to meet with local business owners.
"Through these career fairs, the state is partnering with hundreds of businesses to provide greater employment opportunities for New Yorkers,” Governor Andrew Cuomo said in a statement. “By expanding our career fairs to communities all across the state, we will empower even more New Yorkers to put themselves on the path to prosperity."
The career fair will include the opportunity for residents to get assistance writing their resume and attend workshops on job search tips and interviewing techniques.
