While taking a photo with a cell phone and posting it on Facebook, MySpace or Twitter has become a part of everyday life, Hauppauge students might be asked to put their cameras, or phones, down at school events, even prom.

Terry Nee, of Nesconset, caught a 56-pound 8-ounce striped bass aboard "Lil Marlena" off of Montauk on Tuesday. 


A truck carrying a heavy load of fencing crashed through the guard trail of Veterans Highway, causing major road closures early Monday.
