With state Assembly members poised to vote on a final budget on Thursday, state leaders announced Wednesday school aid totals for the 2013-2014 budget year, which will increase aid next year to Hauppauge School District by about $440,000.

DA: International Counterfeiting Scheme Squashed

A New Jersey man was arrested in Hauppauge on March 14 after authorities said he, along with a small group of others, violated the state's anti-racketeering laws by selling millions of dollars worth of counterfeit goods out of a Queens warehouse and laundering the proceeds through real estate and jewelry purchases.

While Smithtown Hot Yoga announced they were moving off of Smithtown's Main Street and to a new local spot within a month in the beginning of March, the destination has changed.
