Suffolk County Police arrested Andre Machate, 41, of St. James, on Feb.17 for allegedly trying to fill a false prescription using a stolen prescription pad at CVS in Nesconset on Smithtown Boulevard.  

Mauriello Wins Suffolk County Wrestling Title
Nearly one year after a life-or-death battle against MRSA, Hauppauge High School senior Nick Mauriello won a Suffolk championship title in the 132-pound weight class.  

5 People Injured in Route 111 Accident
Hauppauge residents may have noticed Route 111 was shut briefly Thursday night after five people were seriously injured in a two-car collision at the Route 347/111 intersection.
