Weekly Planner: Ice Cream Sandwiches at the Library

The Restaurant Seminar Series sponsored by Mather Hospital's Perfect Plates Restaurant Program is an exciting opportunity for diners to enjoy a delicious $5 perfectly portioned entrée and to learn about nutrition from a Registered Dietitian.

Youth Directions and Alternatives offers a variety of fun activities for young adults this summer. Trips are open to those entering grades 5-12 in September. 

On July 17, the YDA will have lunch and play games at Dave and Busters.  $40 includes lunch and power card for 100 chips towards games and rides.

Henry Osmers will discuss his book, American Gibraltar: Montauk and the Wars of America. Learn about the key role the east end of Long Island played in the American Revolution. Copies of the book will be available for purchase. Commack branch of the Smithtown Library, Tuesday, 7 p.m.

The Smithtown Town Board will meet Tuesday at 2 p.m. at town hall. An agenda can be found online after 5 p.m. Monday.

Teens can join the Baking Coach to learn how to make homemade waffle ice cream sandwiches. Wednesday, 7 p.m. Nesconset branch of the Smithtown Library.
