Weekly Planner: Nature Camp at Hoyt Farm

Here's what's happening in and around Hauppauge this week.

 

Explore the world around us at Hoyt Farm using live animals, hands on activities, games and crafts. This camp programs is suitable for children between ages 7 and 10. Three different sessions will be offered for the summer. Session I starts Monday at 9 a.m.

A free 2 1/2 hour course to teach new drivers how to avoid dangerous driving situations, open to teens ages 16-19. July 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13. (choose one day). 9:00am to 11:30am or 1:00pm to 3:30pm.

What could be better than a carnival on a summer night?  Northport Firemen's Fair offers rides, games, food and fun for the whole family and all for in support of the volunteer fire department. Monday, 7 p.m.

Bring your own eReader or use the library's Nook or Kindle to learn how to use the library's download service, Live-brary. Monday, 10 a.m. at the Hauppauge library.

Teens are invited to enjoy an evening of fun in a supervised drug and alcohol free environment. Middle school and high school students can play volleyball, basketball, horseshoes, bocce, do arts & crafts, sing karoake or play games. Tuesday, 6 p.m. Hoyt Farm.
