Bounce! Trampoline Sports Hosts Grand Opening to Benefit Nassau County Firefighter Burn Center Fund

Bounce! Trampoline Sports has
quickly become a phenomenon in the field of indoor sports entertainment.
Bounce! will celebrate the opening of its newest location in Syosset Long
Island on Saturday, September 7th with a spectacular fundraiser
for the Nassau County Firefighter Burn Center Fund. All proceeds from ticket
sales will be donated to the Burn Center Fund. The fundraiser will take place
from 10 am until 8 pm.  Donation: $15 for one full hour of bounce time.
Bounce time should be reserved in advance by calling 516-762-1300. More
information can be found at www.bounceonit.com.

The
Bounce! grand opening will offer patrons a chance to participate in this new
and exciting recreational experience with all proceeds benefiting the charity.
“We are beyond thrilled to bring Bounce! to Long Island and equally excited to
be able to support both this very worthy cause with what we hope will be a
considerable donation,” declared Danny Fried, co-creator of Bounce!  Those
wishing to participate can find more information on the Bounce! websitewww.bounceonit.com. According to Fried and his partners, the Caplan family of Old
Westbury, and Michael Gross of upstate Woodstock, cleanliness and safety are
the top considerations at Bounce!  “Our pledge is to keep the facility
immaculate, safe and scrupulously maintained so that every day it looks like it
just opened for business,” says General Manager Nick Caplan.  He adds that
NASA research shows that supervised jumping on trampolines is probably the best physical exercise ever devised, proven to tone muscles, burn fat and reduce stress.

Bounce!
will offer fitness classes for all ages and levels, open jump time, trampoline
dodgeball, slam dunk basketball, foam pit jumping and both individual and group
trampoline training classes taught by qualified instructors.  At the
Rockland facility, a “Have Fun and Get Fit” program for overweight and/or
physically inactive youngsters that registered 25 participants for its first
session has been enormously successful, motivating the kids to exercise and
establish overall healthier eating and activity habits.  Explains Caplan, “we
developed an 8-week program that incorporates structured exercise, nutritional
counseling and group play and competition.  The parents and kids both love
the program. The moms say that it’s so much fun the kids don’t think of it as
exercise!”
