Public Relations Professionals of Long Island (PRPLI), the premier
organization for public relations, marketing, and communications practitioners,
will present “Surefire Way to Get Noticed” on Tuesday, September 24, 2013 at
8:00 a.m. at the Adelphi University Hauppauge Education and Conference Center,
55 Kennedy Drive, Hauppauge, NY.

Meet hands-on experts:



Jacqueline Harounian,
Esq.

is a law partner at the law firm of Wisselman, Harounian & Associates,
P.C., a matrimonial and family law firm in Great Neck, NY. She is an
experienced trial attorney, yet believes negotiated settlement (or mediation)
rather than litigation is often the best strategy.  She has received
numerous awards, including recognition by Long
Island Business News
as one of Long Island’s Top 50 Woman. She has been an
expert guest on television and radio, and quoted in many print publications.



Allison Keibel, associate director
of the Center for Career Development at Adelphi University in Garden City, NY.
With more 10 years experience in higher education, schools, and non-profit
organizations, Keibel is committed to helping others achieve their potential.
In her position, she counsels students and alumni throughout the job search
process. She received her BA in psychology and MA in community/counseling
psychology from Marist College.



Margaret King, outreach coordinator for the Office of Career Services
at SUNY College at Old Westbury. A nationally certified career counselor, King found her passion by helping others find theirs. With more
than 20 years in the fields of counseling and education in both the public and
private sector, she counts among her major competencies career development
counseling, appraisal and assessment for career choice, and self-marketing
techniques for employment placement. 



Steven Giannitsis is
from S Photo East. S Photo East is a custom photo studio serving the needs of
corporate, non-profit and government clients. With more than 25 years of
experience in product, fashion, architecture, corporate, event and studio
photography, head photographer Steven Giannitsis provides professional services
including shooting and post production. Clients include: AHRC Nassau, KT
Interior Designs, Town of Oyster Bay, Fireman's Insurance Agency, Rino
Construction, and Town of Oyster Bay Supervisor John Venditto, among others.



“Surefire Way to Get Noticed” is free for PRPLI members, $30 for
non-members (program fee can be applied towards a one year PRPLI membership),
and free for the first 10 college students who register. More information is

University and Michael Kinane, assistant to the president for advancement at
SUNY College at Old Westbury. The organization’s mission is to provide a
platform for its members to network, learn, mentor, and advance in their
