High Schoolers Host Safe Halloween

Carnival games, performances highlight the annual event, which also collects food for Long Island Cares.

The Interact Club of Hauppauge High School will host its annual Safe Halloween event for District children on Saturday from 2:00-4:00 p.m.

Admission is $3 for adults, $2 for children and the donation of a canned good. The canned goods will be donated to Long Island Cares or will be used to create Thanksgiving baskets for families in need. Monetary proceeds are donated to a charity selected by the Interact Club members.

WHAT:     Each year, Hauppauge High School clubs decorate the cafeteria and host a variety of carnival games at the Safe Halloween event. Performing arts students also entertain guests with orchestra, dance and theatrical performances. All students of the Hauppauge School District Community are invited to attend with their families.

WHEN:    Saturday, October 26, 2013 – 2:00 to 4:00 p.m.
