A stunning fall day was the backdrop for Hauppauge High School’s homecoming day and their win 20-9 win over Comsewogue.
The day began with the annual Athletic Hall of Fame Breakfast, where 30 former Hauppauge athletes and community members were honored. Bagpiper Bill led the afternoon’s homecoming parade that included 200 participants and the entire Hauppauge fire department.
Carter Thornton and Jaclyn Hucke were crowned Mr. and Ms. Hauppauge 2013 and rode the parade route in a convertible Bentley, followed by the members of the homecoming court which included Emily Beintz, Lea Pettit, Amanda Jayne, Scott Bottner, Anthony Ferris and Dylan Brophy.
