Amateur Photography Contest
The eighth annual Lustberg Community Amateur Photography Contest is taking place now through May 5. Pick up an entry form at the circulation desk of the Hauppauge Public Library
Yard Sale for Nature
Sweetbriar Nature Center in Smithtown will be holding a yard sale on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m., to support the mission of providing nature education and wildlife rehabilitation to the public. Items will include music boxes, fabric flowers, antiques, collectibles, memorabilia, aquariums/terrariums and other animal care needs and more.
Vintage Base Ball
Enjoy a blast from the past with The Atlantic Base Ball Club, a vintage base ball team, that will be playing its home games at Atlantic Park at the Smithtown Historical Society (239 E Main St., Smithtown). The team the game the way the rules were written in the 19th century.
Rally to Support Horse Slaughter Ban
