Black Friday kicked off the start of the holiday shopping season, and its time to begin thinking about cards to those distant friends and family who you won't be exchanging presents with. One way to share a seasons greetings is to send an updated family photo on a holiday card.

7. Sears Portrait Studio 
Need help creating that perfect photo? Sears Portrait Studio in Lake Grove's Smith Haven Mall is offering all customers a free photo shoot with a custom wall portrait and 20 percent off all ordered prints.

Glossy collage cards featuring a number of photos can be purchased in sets of 20 for $15.99.

JC Penny's  allows you to schedule your family portrait online at www.jcportraits.com. You can create 4-inch by 7-inch size greeting cards with your own message.
