Realty Connect USA Stays Strong for Clients Whose Houses Are Damaged By Hurricane Sandy

The normally hyper-busy Realty Connect USA is usually impervious to most any force, but not the forces of nature. 

Hurricane Sandy has forced the closing of three of the company’s four offices in Suffolk County, said co-founder John Fitzgerald on Wednesday.

Only the Hauppauge office is open, and Wednesday is the first day that office has opened for business, Fitzgerald said.

Realty Connect offices in Setauket, Oakdale and Huntington remain without power and are still closed like many other businesses in the those areas.

Fitzgerald said the company’s agents are trying mightily to maintain contact with clients throughout the weather crises. The company has about 300 agents and is embarked on an expansion program, hoping to have more than 1,000 agents in the near future. It has been predicting real-estate market next year.
