Julie Eisele, Community Educator, Dies at 48

Former Hauppauge High School graduate dies on July 8.

 

A former Hauppauge High School graduate and community educator Julie Eisele has died. She was 48 years old. 

Eisele died on July 8 at the Albancy Medical Center Hospital in Albany, New York, according to an obituary released by Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home. 

Eisele, a doctor of developmental psychology, worked as a community educator for the New York State Epilepsy Foundation of Northeastern New York. She was a graduate of Cornell University. 

Born in Rockville Center, Julie is survived by her parents, Richard and Elizabeth Eisele; her children Max and Grace Papel; and former husband, Jeff Papele. She leaves behind her siblings Michael (Sandy) Eisele, Karen (Michael) Caridi, Eric and Thomas (Geri) Eisele; and aunt of Erica, Lucas, Kristin, Michael, Ella and Samantha. 

A memorial Mass will be held 3 p.m. Friday at in Hauppauge.
