A former principal of Hauppauge Middle School, Leo J. Reilly, died on Sept. 23. He was 86.
Reilly, of Oakdale, was well known in the Haupauge community, having served many years as the principal of Hauppauge Middle School.
Reilly was the beloved husband of the late Eileen. He is survived by his children Leo (Lenora), Joseph (Georgia), Eileen, Francis, the late Raymond, Kathleen (Kevin) Zauner, Laureen Merill and Patrick (Susan). Reilly is grandfather of 12 and great-grandfather to 6.
Visitation was held on Tuesday at Raynor & D`Andrea Funeral Home in West Sayville. Funeral Mass is scheduled for 11:15 a.m. at St. Lawrence R.C. Church in Sayville. Internment to follow at Calverton National Cemetary.
