Be aware of Contruction Sites!

On Friday my sister in law and brother were parked in a Public Parking lot in the Village of Patchogue! When they got back to there car, they found a brand new nail enlarged on the side wall of there tire at an angle that pointed to a construction site and a worker on top of roof. (see pictures)You can actually see the nail gun sitting on the ledge next to the worker. They went and spoke to one of the workers who then sent them into a trailer to speak to a supervisor about the situation. It was late afternoon and even though worker were still working, the office and supervisor were done for the day. So then Who is supervising these workers I ask? No one to talk too, until today (Monday). Well they went back today to speak to the supervisor, and to my disbelieve they were not helpful. They were told that 1. They are not responsible.2. That it could have been another company working there. and that there was nothing they could do. To go to the town. We then call the town, and there they were a little more helpful, but no guaranteed that their insurance will pay for the tire. We then call the construction company head quarters, and instead of working with my sister in law and my brother, They then say that the Nail could have been in there tire for 10 years! Accusing them of Fraud!! Well, now I am not concern to much about the tire because the tire is replaceable. BUT, WHAT IF, instead of the nail flying through the air had enlarge into a pedestrian head! My sister in law, my brother, someone else, a child ect... These workers are still doing construction there. The public parking lot is open to the public and it is not far from the construction site! No one seems to care! This is a real Hazard to the Public and everyone I call Just DON"T CARE!
