Police: Mastic Man Charged in Murder of Medford…

How Would You Rate Your Elected Officials' Performance During Hurricane Sandy?

Comment on how you feel they participated in the recovery process following the storm.

LIPA has been widely criticized over the past two weeks, with locals and politicians skewering the utility company over its performance and communication at the same time praise poured in for the actual crews who worked for so long to restore power.

While the power was out and damage was being cleaned up in Three Village, for some people their only links to the recovery efforts were the local elected officials. Some of those public officials, including State Assemb. Steve Englebright, D-Setauket, and State Sen. John Flanagan, R-East Northport, were even re-elected right in the middle of the recovery effort.

Thus, we ask: How would you grade the performance of your local elected officials during the storm recovery efforts? What else would you ask them to do for their constituents?

All three of them were a joke and should be ashamed of themselves. They did nothing, then try to sell us some story after the fact. I mean give me a break...... What did they do..... Not a thing.... all after the fact people, monday morning QB's. But the liberals in this area will keep kissing their butts like these people are important and are helpful, which they are not. Oh lets save the tree's, how did they work out for everyone.......

Well all 3 of them came over to My house with chainsaws and wood chippers and helped me clear my roof then repair it. NOT Why would we even expect them to help out? Nothing against them personally, but all three positions should be part time jobs......do we really need full time govt at a local level?

Since they are all Local Officials, maybe they can drive around town and see that there still has not been a roadside cleanup of Branches. Even worse, LIPA crews decided that on top of all the existing debris, it would be a good time to do tree trimming without concern about cleaning up after themselves. Now the roads are really loaded with branches. Hey Moe Larry and Curly, see if you can get Shemp to come around with a chipper before a kid gets killed.

The corpse is apparently well http://www.coachoutletonlinegg.com preserved: a young woman, lying face down, http://www.coachoutletonlineaol.net shielding her face with her hands at the moment http://www.coachfactoryoutletwy.com of death. Her dress has risen up http://www.coachoutletstorefc.com and is tangled around her waist, her bare http://www.coachoutletaol.org legs exposed beneath. She is currently on display at http://www.coachfactoryoutetmp.com the J Paul Getty Museum in Malibu, as the first http://www.coachoutletns.com exhibit in a show that explores the ways that http://www.coachoutletstoreonlineys.net modern artists - from Francesco Piranesi http://www.coachfactoryonlineest.net to Anthony Gormley - have responded http://www.coachfactoryoutletpst.com to history's most famous volcanic eruption.
