Each summer, moviegoers flock to the theaters to avoid the summer heat. Filmmakers, on the other hand, compete to create the summer blockbuster that makes its way onto everybody's must-see list.
This weekend, "X-Men: First Class" the latest in a string of Marvel films opened, beginning the summer blockbuster season. Next in the lineup is "Super 8," due out June 10, whose plot remains mysteriously vague from its trailers. Then the much anticipated "Green Lantern," "Cars 2" and "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" by the end of June.
