Question: Should Graduation be Held Indoors or Outdoors?

Hauppauge schol district's traditional indoor ceremony limits the number of guests per student.

Hauppauge High School has traditionally held its graduation exercises indoors, keeping family and friends comfortable in air-conditioned seats safely out of the rain.

This limits graduating seniors to bringing four guests to the ceremony. This begins the debate, who gets the tickets? After mom and dad, do siblings get to see their brother or sister graduate? Do their tickets go to the grandparents? What about the aunts and uncles who have traveled from New Jersey?

Many Long Island high school hold their ceremonies outdoors - Commack, Kings Park, Smithtown East and Smithtown West - on sports fields or football stadiums, weather permitting, to accommodate the crowd. It allows students to bring all their guests.

Our Question of the Day asks: Do you think Hauppauge High School should hold its graduation ceremony indoors regardless of the weather? Or would you rather Hauppauge hold it outdoors like neighboring schools?
