Armed Robbers Hit Dunkin Donuts/Baskin-Robbins

Armed robbers broke into the Dunkin Donuts/Baskin-Robbins on Route 347 late Sunday night, according to Suffolk County police.

Suffolk police said a robbery took place at the Dunkin Donuts/Baskin-Robbins store on the corner of Route 347/111 in Hauppauge late Sunday evening. Officers are investigating the robbery, but further details were not immediately available as of Monday morning. 

This robbery is the latest in a string of armed robberies in the Hauppauge stores within the last month. On Feb. 6,on Motor Parkway in Hauppauge, taking cash from the register and an employee's cell phone.

in the Hauppauge Shopping Center on Feb. 17. The robbers made off with an undisclosed sum of cash, an iPhone 4 and a cell phone. 

It is unknown whether any of these robberies are connected.
